A part time Lecturer position is available in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences (DEPHS) at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. DEPHS plays a critical role in advancing not only environmental and public health education, but also shaping the future of public health, future health leaders and industry professionals.
As such, DEPHS is accepting applications for a term (part-time) appointment as a lecturer. As a lecturer in the department, this position will teach scholarly and other professional or creative activities in the Epidemiology Graduate Program as well as support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence.
Essential Functions
Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
Minimum Requirements
Appropriate academic graduate and/or terminal degree related to departmental specifications (e.g., PhD, MBA, EdD, MPH, DrPH)
Prior academic experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching, research or other scholarly activity as evidenced by peer reviews.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
