Senior Associate – Product Analyst, Research & Discovery
Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
As a Product Analyst you will work with products related to drug discovery and research laboratories used by colleagues in Pfizer Research & Development (PRD) You will support agile product teams to develop, update, and realize a product requirement, roadmap, OKRs, and ultimately vision for drug discovery and research technologies that serve Pfizer research colleagues worldwide.
You will interact with stakeholders across Pfizer Digital, WRDM and Quality organizations, to interpret business needs and translate them into powerful, functional, beautiful, and well-integrated software products that generate a superior digital experience to make colleague work faster, easier, and better informed.
As a Product Analyst, you will build a foundational Product Management toolkit, including learning how to develop a compelling technology strategy, product vision, roadmap. Working with the product team you will help support setting Objectives and Key Results for the Product team and measuring / tracking success against key metrics.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand product goals, create tracking, reporting and segmentation requirements that will ensure timely and accurate measurements
Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements to write and clarify user stories, visualizations, and process flows
Organize, prepare, and present easy to understand stories with valid proof points that show the team’s backlog priorities tie back to business objectives
Analyze ongoing initiatives and releases and assist product managers in performance assessment, efficiency, and improved user/product experiences
Track metrics (e.g., Objectives & Key Results) and build reports to measure progress
Help manage dependencies with other teams, working closely with the product team
Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, and ensure PDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required
Support product demos via inspect and adapt workshops as needed
Must-Have
Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience; or master’s degree with one year of relevant experience; or associate's degree with six years of relevant experience; or eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Degree in Business, Technology, Science, or a related field
A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive progress toward completion with proper planning and management
3 years of experience using standard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, interviewing, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases desired
Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences
Excellent in an ambiguous environment; can ask clarifying questions to help reduce ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Education in Life Science-related field of study
Experience in product development or product management showing ownership of feature delivery
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge about the biopharmaceutical industry and drug discovery
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Work Location Assignment_Hybrid. Hybrid colleagues must be able to work in Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business to connect and innovate with their team face-to-face. However, they also benefit from being able to work offsite regularly when it makes business sense to do so.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,900.00 to $124,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
