In the Ball State University School of Kinesiology, housed in the College of Health, our programs provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact physical activity has on health, society, and quality of life for the general population. The Sport Administration Program graduates industry professionals who blend an understanding of athletics with business acumen and creative instinct to positively impact sport and communities. We invite applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Sport Administration Program to join us in preparing sport professionals.
Responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, conducting research and advising graduate student research, and engaging in professional service. This position is a 10-month, full time tenure-track position with possible summer teaching.

Minimum Experience:
ABD in Sport Management/Administration, Kinesiology, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university by time of appointment. At least 4 months experience teaching courses at the university/college level. Evidence of scholarly productivity demonstrated by at least one publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
Preferred Experience:
At least 9 months experience teaching courses at the university/college level. Expertise in scholarly productivity in the area of sports marketing and consumer behavioras evidenced by one or more publications in a peer reviewed journal and conference presentations. Evidence of professional service to one or more national/international sport administration/management organizations.
