Job Description

The Ideal Candidate

  • The ability to perform complex data analysis, ad hoc reporting, data mining, pattern and trend analysis to complete research and analysis projects
  • Experience using data query/ reporting tools
  • Experience with data manipulation and statistical analysis

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Database management and creation
  • Performs data accuracy audits, data quality review procedures on large datasets/databases.
  • Serves as a supervisor/project coordinator for studies related to the PI.
  • Creates, modifies and maintains databases for research studies related to the PI.
  • Responsible for drafting scientific documents to include regulatory documents, publications and protocols (e.g. sections of manuscripts, IRB protocols, MTAs, SRC documents etc.).
  • Preparing documents for clinical/laboratory protocols, and assisting with the preparation and submission of manuscripts and grant applications.
  • Coordinates a wide range of research and educational projects that might involve diverse stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and assists with dissemination of research such as publishing literature, writing abstracts, and presenting research data.
  • Serve as administrative contact for off site co-investigators and research affiliates.
  • Development of study plans / protocols / SOPs.
  • Attend internal program meetings as appropriate (ie. program meetings, PI protocol specific meetings.)
  • Works with clinical or other research staff to educate staff about the research protocol.
  • Ensure data quality; responsible for the overall accuracy of the data submitted. Submit accurate data on appropriate forms and within assigned time frames.

 

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required; Master's with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Hands on experience necessary, along with experience in the use of basic office equipment, computers and MS Office software environment.
  • Experience with experimental design, project planning and working the context of timelines and deliverables; also, experience with managing multiple experiments/projects, prioritizing workflows.
  • Must have ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple work assignments.
