As a successful candidate, you will:

  • The OD Project & Data Analyst position develops, coordinates, and assists with the creation and use of data analytics, implementation of initiatives, programs and projects that affect all areas of Organizational Development. This position will be aligned to key strategic projects to assists the OD Managers and Consultants with project management providing data analytics, and reporting. The project analyst will assist in gathering best practice research and benchmarks that support given projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for communicating project status to all appropriate stakeholders and reporting on various success metrics to measure the success of the action items and decisions reached throughout the project management lifecycle.
  • Data Analytics – turns data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Uses Excel and other tools to interpret data from multiple HR systems and surveys to analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports. Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems. Uses acquired data to build analytics and the story data is telling for talent management. Coordinates the preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and information from various sources. Develops and maintains dashboards that will measure and report status outcomes and potential risks. Use data analysis results to drive project plan elements. Understands organizational hierarchy and patterns to recognize inconsistences in data and structure and recommends solutions to resolve in conjunction with HRIM.
  • Project and Time Management – effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects. Develop and execute project time-lines in collaboration with OD team member and document decision making results. Manage time so that daily, weekly, monthly duties are completed on time and demonstrate flexibility by changing tasks as needed to achieve shifting priorities. Take an orderly and efficient approach to tasks, setting priorities and handling several situations at once. Monitors project plans to ensure tasks are on time and budget.
  • Call Management – Takes client calls on Engagement, PDRP, LPDW and other OD programs as needed. Uses call as data collection touch point to make system adjustments as needed
  • Building Partnerships – identifying opportunities and taking action to build relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units or organizations to help achieve business outcomes.
  • System Maintenance Optimization and Vendor Management – maintains current systems and OD owned intranet pages to ensure on-going relevance and overall value. Provides thought leadership into system enhancements. Ensures OD systems (Cornerstone, Saba, Skillsoft) are optimized and utilize the latest quarterly system enhancements to align with org needs. Works with vendors to influence needed changes, fixes, patches and any other issues that may arise causing less than optimal functionality.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, I/O Psychology, Organization Development, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, or related discipline
  • 4 years work experience in:
  • Coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Data analytics
  • Project management
  • Experience in effective stakeholder engagement – track record of success in effectively interacting with and engaging with colleagues and internal customers.
  • Experience in a delivery role in a complex and integrated environment

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in organizational development, behavioral sciences, human resources, business management or education.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.64 - $53.70 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
