Job Description:

City of Hope Phoenix(Goodyear, AZ) is seeking a noninvasive BC/BE Cardiologist to join our growing program. 

OVERVIEW  

  • Provide non-invasive/non-interventional outpatient and inpatient cardiac care to oncology patients in state-of-the-art oncology center
  • Supervise, conduct and interpret various non-invasive diagnostic procedures, such as echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, exercise treadmill stress testing, Holter and event monitors. 
  • Schedule:  Monday through Friday 8-5.
  • Dedicated Medical Assistant and RN support, advanced practice provider support shared with other medical specialties.
  • 100% Clinical
  • Electronic Health Record: EPIC

  • Demonstrated ability to function as a team player

  • Collegial and helpful with internal colleagues, referring physicians, and others

  • Articulate and engaging with patients, families, and other caregivers, always using understandable language and compassion

  • Confident yet humble manner that earns respect from patients and colleagues

  • Well-versed in the state of cancer care, including the latest standards of care, research, and innovations

  • Working in a multi-specialty clinical environment, excellent collaboration with other specialties is vital for providing comprehensive care.

  • Ability to function actively and collegially using an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with a cancer team to deliver outstanding patient care

  • Commitment to being able, affable, and available in all professional endeavors

  • Willingness to engage in practice-related activities, including program development, growth initiatives, and regular communication with referring physicians

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or equivalent

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine

  • Must have or be eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Arizona

SALARY RANGE: $350,000 - $550,000    The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
