What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will provide engineering and technical support related to the installation, startup/commissioning, testing, and qualification, sustained operation and maintenance of process and automated equipment and systems within a biopharmaceutical clinical manufacturing facility, as well as commercial/ clinical changeover and tech transfer activities. This may include working on production equipment such as bioreactors, ultrafiltration skids, Clean–In–Place (CIP) skids, and other support equipment.
How You Will Achieve It
Support the operation and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems used in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals
Support the design and qualification of improvements, changes, or upgrades of production equipment as needed
Support the development and execution of commissioning and qualification documents
Provide on the floor operational support as needed
Support the maintenance department as needed
Provide equipment maintenance history review
Support tech transfer and changeover for commercial and clinical processes
Support investigations, audits and change controls as needed
Support new process and continuous improvement projects as needed.
Contribute to the completion of project milestones, organize own work to meet project task deadlines and communicate progress on scheduled assignments
Provide second shift coverage
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 4 years of experience OR a bachelors degree with 0+years of experience.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
- Knowledge of working with computers and associated applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are recommended.
Nice-to-Have
- Candidate with working knowledge in biopharmaceutical or similarly regulated field are preferred.
- Familiarity with Emerson DeltaV, Allen-Bradley PLC preferred.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk to access equipment in a clean room environment
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to locate information and utilize available organizational knowledge to develop innovative solutions
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Minimal travel for equipment support and projects
- Provide second shift coverage, shift differential pay applies
- Ability to manage work on off-shift to support any emergencies as needed
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
