Job Description

Summary

The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting Full Time Position will provide research study services to patients with mental health and substance use problems at community health clinics of Harris Health System.

 

This position is located in Ben Taub Hospital/NPC Building, Houston, TX 77030.

Job Duties

  • Complete all institutional and study related trainings.
  • Perform phone screenings and chart review for patient eligibility for study. 
  • Participate in any recruitment activity at clinic.
  • Schedule patients for all study visits and send them reminders before the visit.
  • Perform consenting. 
  • Perform all visit related procedures over the study specific visits.
  • Completed all required rating scales and perform cognitive battery testing.
  • Perform ECG’s and obtain vital signs on study participants.
  • Process and ship the biological samples to the central lab per protocol.
  • Complete source documents, file lab and ECG reports.
  • Perform data entry. 
  • Upload money in the Clincard.
  • Order study related supplies. 
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
