A postdoctoral associate position is immediately available in the Muzumdar lab for a project supported by NIH in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

The aim of the project is to investigate the role of a mitochondrial associate peptide, Humanin, in cardiovascular disease in aging. We are looking for a recent or imminent Ph.D. graduate with experience in metabolism, molecular biology, and/or Biochemistry. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a group as well as independently.
