Position Highlights:

Provides the efficient operation of the Supply Chain by receipt, storage and the distribution of supplies to all areas throughout the Moffitt sites. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to walk and stand throughout the entire day. Must be able to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately. Supports the Strategic Goals and the Mission of the Cancer Center

Responsibilities:

Receipt of inbound freight(McKinley location only)

• Receive in daily parcels and complete data entry in order to pay the vendor and obtain the   correct deliver to location for the product

Count PARS locations (Periodic Automatic Replenishment)

• Count PAR locations throughout the Center, this will ensure adequate inventory levels at all locations

Pull orders (Pyxis, PARS & Requisitions)

• Using a hand held device, pull orders using MSCM(Mobile Supply Chain Management)

Deliver orders (Pyxis, PARS, & Requisitions) as well as all product received daily

• Deliver all orders pulled that day, as well as all products received in

STAT phone & pager requests 

• Carry and answer Spectralink phone as well as the General Stores pager, so that all areas can call for emergent patient care items needed

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Minimum of four (4) years supply chain and distribution experience directly involved in distribution (operational and administrative) support within a healthcare facility, medical durable goods management, educational facility or similar supplier/distribution business; with two (2) years working specifically in Healthcare Supply Chain and Distribution environment is required (may be inclusive of other experience).
•     - PLUS - One (1) year leadership experience as Project Lead, Supervisory, Team/Department lead or above is required (may be inclusive of the overall experience); two (2) years internal Moffitt Supply Chain specific work experience may be considered "in lieu" of the one year of Lead experience

Preferred :

• Associate’s Degree
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with vendor management software and/or in-person (customer service) interactions preferred.
• Pyxis experience is preferred.
• Mobile Supply Chain Management (MSCM) preferred.
