What You Will Achieve

Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help you in communicating and directing the activities of employees in the production areas in an effective manner. You will be entrusted with addressing deviations to process problems in the production areas and manage timely equipment maintenance. You will ensure current Good Manufacturing Practices compliance, meet area performance measures, and promote employee training.

As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative teaming environment for your colleagues.

Provides technical expertise and operational support for Drug Product Inspection and Packaging operations. Partners with shop floor colleagues and supervision to ensure smooth and efficient production of a diverse mix of products.  Assists in equipment troubleshooting activities as needed.

Provides concise and thorough updates on initiatives to site leadership.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.

  • Respond to safety related items and assures corrective actions are taken when necessary.

  • Responsible for identifying and implementing efficiency, safety, quality and cost improvements on equipment and processes.

  • Promote cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance within the workplace by following site cGMP procedures.

  • Assures standard operating procedures are updated and adhered.

  • Develop appropriate metrics and action plans to ensure customer/business needs are met.

  • Manage supervision of inspection, reconciliation or dispensing and receivals of components.

  • Apply project management skills to lead and participate in cross-functional teams to deliver objectives on time.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an associate degree with 4 years of experience OR a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience.

  • Strong aptitude for learning process technology and equipment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization including diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.

  • Flexibility and ability to embrace and lead change.

Nice-to-Have

  • Pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience and strong demonstrated technical skills exhibited in a cGMP environment.

  • Experience in a cGMP environment including specific knowledge of and experience with Drug Product processing and equipment is highly desirable.

  

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Job will include standing, walking, and sitting.  Occasional lifting may be required. 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel

  • This position supports a 24x7x365 operation.

  • Night Shift: This position will align work schedule to support a 6:00 pm to 6:00 am team with a rotating 5-5-4 schedule. This schedule provides 2 consecutive weekends unscheduled followed by 2 scheduled weekends. Holiday and overtime may be required to meet business needs.

  • Work Location Assignment: On Premise colleagues work in a Pfizer site because it’s needed to get their job done. They may have flexibility to work remotely from time to time, but they are primarily on-site.
