Position Summary

The Manager, Digital Media and Marketing Content, helps shape a digital landscape that plays a critical role in the success of TGen’s marketing, awareness and fundraising initiatives. The primary responsibility of this position is to grow and manage TGen’s social media community and increase engagement across all of our channels.

Responsibilities include:

· Develop social marketing campaigns, curating and creating content (copy writing, photography and videography)

· Track and provide reporting

· Optimize efforts in our social channels

· Day-to- day management of our social media communities.

· Write and prepare materials against sometimes short deadlines.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in biomedical research/life sciences, has a positive attitude, possesses strong writing and analytical skills, has the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively and is a proactive team player. This position is office-based and reports to the SVP, Marketing and Communications.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

· Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more year of experience leading/executing social media campaigns.

· Experience using multimedia channels including social media, SEO, SEM, events, direct mail, print and PR is critical. Demonstrated mastery of social platforms beyond Facebook and Twitter.

· Demonstrated proficiency with platforms such as Hootsuite, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and other digital deployment and analytics software.

· Attention to detail and exceptional writing/proofreading skills.
