ROLE SUMMARY 

We are seeking a highly motivated, technically strong individual to join the Global Digital Operations (GDO) team (within Pfizer’s Platform DevOps organization) as a Communications and Analytics Leads 

The Platform DevOps (PDO) team are accountable for the platforms at Pfizer that allow the creation, configuration, launch, and support of all externally facing digital (web, mobile, omni-channel, & device) products, services, and experiences, servicing all external customer types at Pfizer. 

The Support and Operations organization works within an Agile Culture with a DevOps mindset of Continuous ImprovementIt will be critical for the individual in this role to align to both the framework and the culture of the organization and seek to continuously optimize and automate processes within the “Shift-Left” model established by our team. 

The Communications and Analytics lead will create, implement and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the Global Digital Operations team, its services and successes. Additionally, this role will be responsible for providing strategic reporting, insights and analyses to GDO and broader PDO and Digital organizations at Pfizer. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer confidence and satisfaction. 

  • Manage content for the Global Digital Operations module of the Platform DevOps intranet site. 

  • Design infographics to visually represent how Global Digital Operations is operated end-to-end. 

  • Create an automated process to capture and report team highlights. 

  • Market and promote team successes across the broader PDO and Digital organizations. 

  • Lead and facilitate quarterly organizational town halls (guest speakers, games to promote virtual\social interaction) 

  • Media (video, blogs, podcast) production. 

  • Manage technical writers and associated projects. 

  • Understand current suite of available PDO reports, their usage and develop a roadmap to increase adoption, rationalize or build new reports. 

  • Partner with client partners and business users to develop a core set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for GDO services. 

  • Create a framework for standardized support and operations dashboards. 

  • Develop ad-hoc and standard reports using Tableau and Smartsheet. 

  • Implement an approach to track organizational activities (small-to-medium-sized projects, continuous improvement initiatives, etc) creating transparency for upper management. 

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 5+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Information or Technology Management. 

  • Data visualization experience with tools such as Business Intelligence, Tableau, Business Objects or MicroStrategy. 

  • Proficiency with online collaboration tools like Miro, Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet. 

  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management Principles and Tools (e.g. Zendesk, Service Manager, Service Now) 

  • Basic understanding of finance and ability produce charts and graphs with Excel, Tableau and/or Smartsheet. 

  • Top-notch written, interpersonal and oral communication skills. 

  • Energetic personality with a passion for media and content creation. 

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data. 

  • Ability to communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.  

  • Experience managing vendors and contracted resources in both a staff augmentation and outsourcing model. 

  • Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Project Management experience. 

  • Background in Graphic Design a plus. 

  • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing. 

  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adopt new ideas and concepts. 

  • Able to work remotely with a team spanning many time zones
