What You Will Achieve 

Manage and responsible for Shift Process Technician training requirements and include conducting instructor lead on the job training activities. Develop training materials for Process Technicians on plant equipment operation. Assess training and knowledge retention of trainees.
 
How You Will Achieve It 

  • Conduct training for shift process technicians and mentor them till they are competent to perform task independently.
  • Participate in HAZOP, JSA assessments
  • Administer proper documentation for all training related forms and records – Learning Records, assessments, evaluations, Course Information Forms, Learning Requisitions.
  • Proficient in Active Learner system and manage the training requirements of the Production Team, which includes coordinating all training activities and facilitating group training for the department.
  • Provide feedback and training status reports to Operations Manager on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with other function for internal and external training arrangement for shift technicians and STS.
  • Perform document review and revision when assigned
  • Complete all documentation according with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Work in shift environment

 

Accountable for:

  • Efficient execution of the Department Training Plan.
  • Coordination and implementation of technical training within the department.
  • Proper documentation of all training activities and timely submission of documentation to L&D.
  • The knowledge and operation skill of technician to comply to EHS and GMP requirement.
  • Closing of training gaps for shift colleagues.
  • Review training materials to improve the quality of training.
  • Monitor training gaps of shift colleagues and close gaps within 7 days
  • Training needs and administer Job Training Curricula (JTC) of the shift team and conduct training to close the training gaps.
  • Write, review and revise SOP, SOJT, JSA, RA, cleaning instructions.
  • Continuous improvement and CAPEX projects
  • Lead Safety and/or Quality incident investigation.
  • Assigned CAPA and/or change control actions.

Qualifications   

  • Diploma in a technical discipline or GCE “O/A’ levels

  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably from chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

  • Knowledge on On-the-Job-Training (OJT), Job Safety Assessment, Risk Assessment, HAZOP
  • Align with SOP
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Documentation Practice.
  • Performance improvement of Process Technicians
