Job Description
Summary
The Senior Research Coordinator will assist investigators in the Division of Public Health Pediatrics in managing research projects. Initially, this position is funded on a 3-year state funded grant and will primarily be responsible for setting up and managing a randomized controlled trial of a new brief home visitation program supporting pregnant and postpartum women and their families.
Job Duties
- Assisting with the development of research protocols and operating procedures to ensure quality program implementation and data collection.
- Recruiting families for studies; explains process and procedures to educate participant regarding the research study.
- Maintaining records and regulatory documents and records for research studies.
- Managing in-home/ in clinic data collection process, including staff assignments and schedules
- Collecting data for research projects
- Assisting with content development, content editing, and program improvement efforts
- Participating in/leading project meetings with staff
- Ordering supplies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- Five years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing, submitting, and monitoring IRB protocols
- Experience with intervention or data collection in the home
- Experience supervising staff
- Experience with REDCap
