What Your Job Will Be Like: Are you passionate about fostering success through partnerships? Are you curious about how that works between Sandia and Universities? We are seeking a Year-Round Business Graduate intern to support the National Regional Partnerships under the University Partnerships program at Sandia National Laboratories. On any given day, you may be called on to: + Assist with drafting and executing university partnership agreements, such as Letters of Support, MOUs, and NDA's. + Assist with planning and hosting info sessions and workshops to engage principal investigators, faculty collaborators, students, and postdocs + Support the National/Regional university program lead with program reviews, process documents, and program strategy + Support program lead in updating the status of activities and milestones outlined in annual plan, and developing agenda for coordination meetings + Interface with Sandia and university leadership + Assist with development of the University Partnerships web page Posting Duration: This posting will be open for application submissions for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days, including the ‘posting date’. NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs: If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs. If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date. Qualifications We Require: You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements: + Earned bachelor's degree + Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited graduate program + Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 + Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer + U.S. citizenship Qualifications We Desire: + Desire to work with Sandia leadership + Desire to actively work in partnerships with universities across the country + Experience with Excel, and other Microsoft products in the Microsoft office suite + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong teaming and interpersonal skills with proven success working on multi-disciplinary teams About Our Team: Sandia National Laboratories has created a strategic partnership program with national regional with a selection of 20 top national and regional universities across the country. Consistent with the objectives of the University Partnerships Program, Sandia has committed to deepen its institutional relationship with these universities by collaborating on and funding mutually beneficial research, supporting with a dedicated campus executive, and building relationships to foster the talent pipeline. This program is part of the CRO Research and Academic Programs group (1900) and supports Sandia’s relationship with these schools to spearhead partnership development, technology transfer, and enhance recruiting efforts. In addition, 1900 is responsible for stewarding Sandia’s partnerships with 7 Alliance Partnership Universities.

Security Clearance:
