Job Description

Summary

Excellent opportunity for a clinical researcher or bioengineer who wishes to improve her/his skills in medical field and hospital industries. Candidate will be part of a highly productive interdisciplinary team from engineers to research coordinators to surgeons and will be involved in clinical and translational research in one of the largest medical complex in the world: Texas Medical Center. The research focus includes remote patient monitoring, digital health, and care in place. The candidate will benefit from an excellent interdisciplinary environment at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Medical Center with interdisciplinary collaboration with top digital health industries and other institutes including Rice University, VA Houston as well as partnership with Caltech, USC, UArizona, and UM through a NSF IUCRC Center to Stream HealthCare in Place (C2SHIP).

Job Duties

  • Support in developing, implementing, and monitoring research protocols, procedures, and processes. 
  • Contribute in data analysis and data and may develop and clean databases for research projects.
  • Support in research grant writing. 
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Biomechanics, Electrical engineering, Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering or related fields. 
  • Programming, image processing, and artificial intelligent 
  • PhD in Computer Science, Biomechanics, Electrical engineering, Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • mobile application design, remote patient monitoring, digital health, wearables.
