Job Description

Summary

The primary role of the Sr Coordinator of Research Operations will be to manage all aspects of our HPV vaccination and e-cigarette prevention program with clinical partners, including adapting HPV vaccination and tobacco prevention educational materials and coordinating provider trainings.  The coordinator will be expected to both work independently on certain aspects of the project and within a team environment on others. This is an opportunity to collaborate with providers and researchers in order to improve preventive care for adolescents served by our clinical partners.

Job Duties

The Sr Coordinator position duties entail, but are not limited to, the following activities to achieve our program goals to increase the proportion of adolescents who receive the HPV vaccine series, and to integrate comprehensive tobacco prevention clinical services into routine pediatric care for adolescents:

 

  • Maintain spreadsheets and other records to document program activities to be used for program evaluation.
  • Adapt HPV vaccination and e-cigarette prevention materials for clinical partners.
  • Coordinate and facilitate provider trainings with community partners and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports to funding agency.
  • Independently coordinate program activities.
  • Prepare agendas for and lead weekly team meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with program partners and obtain data as needed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for program-related inquiries..

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of operational, function, and / or business systems and practices
  • Excellent communication skills and work well with others
  • Excellent project management skills
