Position Highlights:

• This position formulates recommendations for action. All GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) contract activations will be their responsibility. Utilize systems and department software to develop and maintain financial reporting tools to support business decisions such as savings initiatives, contract tracking, financial benchmarking and product conversions. Will serve and at times facilitate Value Analysis team meetings.
• This position will be responsible for conducting RFPs/Bids, coordinating with both the Contract Analyst and Procurement staff. They will work with our GPO representative to identify contract compliance, savings, and other opportunities that may be beneficial to the organization. Participate as needed in Capital Project meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Support, oversee and manage the RFP process while making recommendations and negotiating with the vendors and the departments.
• Review reports daily and work closely with Purchasing Department to avoid stock outs and backorder situations. Drive adoption and application of analytical model results with business partners, ensuring benefits realized.
• Utilize systems software to develop and maintain financial reporting. Monitors product management to ensure products and services compliance
• Responsible for developing and maintaining Supply Chain policies, processes and procedures within the departments to ensure proper internal controls and overall efficiency.
• Support the Value Analysis Coordinator to analyze and manage Value Analysis Teams initiatives for savings and documentation of savings
• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service to all internal/external customers.

Credentials and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree – field of study: IT, Accounting, Finance or Health Administration
• Five (5) years experience in Supply Chain, GPO Contract, Hospital Sourcing, Negotiating Terms and Pricing Experience and experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP)
  • ****in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma/GED with four (4) additional years of directly related work exp may be considered (for a total of 9)
