Job Description

We are hiring postdocs interested in epigenetics, aging and cancer. The laboratory provides an excellent environment for researchers interested in cancer cell metabolism, aging, and epigenetic changes that connect alterations to the biophysical state of the nuclear microenvironment (including redox) with gene expression patterns that either initiate or promote cancer disease progression towards incurable disease. Our highly translational approach enables collaborations across the spectrum of drug development with Ph.Ds, M.D.s and industry partners.

Specifics: Successful candidates must hold a doctoral degree and be able to work in a team. Experience with cell culture, cloning, transfection and selection of cell lines, PCR, Western blotting, and other basic molecular biology laboratory techniques are a must. Experience with animal experimentation, imaging, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and bioinformatics are a plus. Most importantly it is expected that the candidate has a passion for cancer biology, epigenetics, and/or redox biology.
