Responsibilities
The Van Remmen lab is looking for a Research Technician/Research Technician II to conduct basic research in aging, skeletal muscle biology and mitochondrial function primarily through in vitro cell culture techniques. Specific duties include, but are not limited to cell culture, western blotting, real time PCR analysis, and basic biochemical assays.


Qualifications
BA/BS degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory experience. Should be familiar with lab techniques. Previous experience with cell culture is required. OMRF has mandated the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees, excluding those with an approved medical or religious accommodation, as a condition of employment.
