Job Description

Position Highlights:

Responsible for keying, uploading, and approving employee Human Resources data using the HRIS Lawson system. Can train/assist HR users on best practices, even for students and trainees (non-employees). Provides system support and training for applications including Employee & Manager Self Service (EMSS). Assists the HRIS Coordinator with upgrades, implementations, and ongoing maintenance of the ERP system (Lawson). Responsible for the administration of ancillary HR systems, including, but not limited to Moffitt's ATS, Badge system, and Performance Management System, ensuring data flows to and from various systems or databases, requiring substantial knowledge of the ERP data, and working with IT or consultants/vendors to resolve issues. Is able to create and run queries as needed from various systems.

 The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • General computer skills required including the ability to query data from various table sources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Application knowledge in software for Human Resources required, Lawson highly preferred.
  • Preferred - Small scale Project Management experience.
  • Preferred - Working knowledge and interpretation of Federal, State, and Local regulatory environments impacting the employment relationship.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures HRIS changes and updates are approved on a biweekly basis , including but not limited to Promotions, Demotions, Transfers, Status Changes, Market Adjustments, Equity Adjustments, and Time Accrual (PTO) Adjustments. Communicates and follows-up with Management staff and other HR teams regarding MSS transactions and any missing documentation for those changes. Acts as primary liaison with Payroll Services for these changes, coordinating the flow of information and ensuring correct employee deductions. Trains the HRIS Rep for any other transactions, providing support on those transactions (terminations, etc.) when volumes require. Responsible for training new users, whether HR or organization Management. Meets HR/Payroll deadlines as outlined by Payroll department.
  • Ancillary HR systems administrator - ensures employee and non-employee data flows as required between the ERP and other ancillary HR systems, resolving issues, and keeping all affected parties abreast of resolution timelines. Maintains security (access) to ancillary HR systems by regularly auditing master lists for access. Also assists in ERP upgrades, implementations, and maintenance, working with the HRIS Coordinator to ensure these project tasks remain on on-time for HR.    
  • Runs standard reports. Creates more complex queries when requested, at times involving data from multiple systems and databases. 
  • Ensures HRIS processes are documented and kept up to date, reviewing annually for updates as needed.  
  • Affirmative Action Plan administrator.              

Credentials and Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in an HRIS role required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
