Job Description
Position Highlights:
- The anesthesia technician maintains and prepares supplies and equipment for use by anesthesia personnel in Operative Services.
The Ideal Candidate
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- 1 year of Hospital and/or acute care related experience
- BCLS Certification
- Direct knowledge/experience related to patient care, surgical and
anesthesia routines and critical management.
- Good emotional and physical health to fulfill the requirements of
the Perioperative service.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prepare anesthesia supplies for each procedure.
- Maintain and restocking of equipment and supplies in each OR at end of surgery day.
- Assess and prepare equipment for each procedure.
- Cleans, maintains and replaces disposables after each case.
- Contributes to productivity and cooperative effort of OR team.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Direct knowledge/experience related to patient care, surgical and
anesthesia routines and critical management.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- BCLS Certification
