A postdoctoral associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jennifer Trowbridge at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine, to perform basic and translational research investigating why and how blood cancers develop from pre-existing clonal hematopoiesis (CHIP/ARCH). The Trowbridge Lab offers a teamwork environment including collaborative opportunities with other leading laboratories nationally and internationally. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be able to plan, develop, execute, and analyze an independent research project.

Qualifications

M.D. or Ph.D. in biological or related sciences is required.
Strong training background in molecular biology and cell biology is preferred.
Other areas of experience/training that would be valuable include stem cell biology, hematopoiesis, immunology, aging, cancer biology, or developmental biology.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Self-motivated and career-oriented individual preferred;
Minimum of one 1st author paper from graduate work.
