Visiting Instructor in Mathematics
The University of Findlay is seeking candidates for a visiting instructor appointment in Mathematics. Preferred candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s in mathematics or statistics. Those candidates with breadth of background in applied mathematics or statistics and the ability to teach a wide variety of classes are preferred.
Responsibilities will include teaching 30 workload hours during an academic year, professional activities in discipline area, and participation in departmental administrative duties. College teaching experience is desirable and a commitment to mentoring student research activity is desirable. Salary and title will be commensurate with qualifications. The mathematics area provides instruction to approximately 1,500 students per year through general education courses in statistics, pre-calculus, and calculus and degree specific courses for mathematics, computer science, and education.
